painted Winter Vigil as a way of extending my connection with wildlife beyond the landscapes I know. Having my work exhibited at the Jim Corbett National Park Museum in India, I wanted to explore the wildlife of North America and express my admiration for its unique wilderness and species.
Through this painting, I hope to build a connection between two worlds—Indian and American wildlife—united by the same sense of wonder and respect for nature. Winter Vigil is my way of carrying my love for wildlife across borders and sharing it with a wider audience.
