Untamed is a powerful wildlife portrait portraying the African buffalo in a moment of quiet intensity. The animal’s massive curved horns dominate the composition, framing its steady gaze and emphasizing its strength, resilience, and imposing presence.

The muted earthy palette and textured treatment create a raw, almost timeless atmosphere, while the close-up perspective removes distractions and places the viewer directly in front of the animal. The buffalo’s calm expression contrasts with its formidable physical presence, suggesting that true power does not always need to be displayed.

The work explores strength, endurance, and the untamed character of the wild through a focused and intimate portrait.
