Melody in Motion (winner songbird art contest 2025-26 ) captures the fleeting beauty and energy of songbirds in their natural world. One bird takes flight with wings fully spread, another approaches the tree in motion, while a third rests quietly on the weathered trunk. Together, they create a visual rhythm—a silent melody expressed through movement, form, and nature.

The composition explores the contrast between stillness and motion. Each bird represents a different moment: flight, arrival, and rest. The soft, warm background allows the delicate details of the birds and their graceful movements to take centre stage.

The title Melody in Motion reflects the idea that birds do not only create music through their songs—their movement itself can feel musical, flowing through nature like notes in the air.
